While suburbs used to be characterized as primarily resided by white people, with the development of technology, more and more Asians start to reside in Suburbs as middle class citizens of the United States. However, while they may enjoy the material well-beings equal to that of the white, they are discriminated against due to their racial and cultural differences. Though it is the dream of many families to find a place that is completely out of racial prejudice, truly finding that place is nearly impossible since most neighborhoods are either ''segregated'' or diverse but full of discriminations. Asian Americans are still looking for a way to find a new lifestyle that may incorporate their old ones on the land of America and this has totally changed the face of suburbs in California.
