Dearest Phil,
I've been thinking for some time now, about what you and Dave have said. Though deep down inside, I am glad to have been born Christian. After all, who in the world would say they'd love to be discriminated and ostracized? Not many, I would assume. However, I have come to terms with the other points you've made. I agree, I am too passive in my position. I recognize now that it is not enough to feel sick or sit quietly while others are being disparaged. I will rise up, take action, and do what is right. However, this doesn't change the fact that I am happy to be Christian, but I am willing to "make a fuss" to stand up for what is right. Because, after all, no matter our religion, we are all Americans.
Love,
Kathy
